Chia Seed Piña Colada Smoothie

Soak the chia seeds in the milk overnight in the fridge. In the morning, blend the chia-milk mix with the pineapple, yogurt, coconut and coconut oil for a fast and efficient breakfast in the morning that keeps you full for hours.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Chia seeds
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt (I like unsweetened, but coconut flavor is excellent here)
  • 1 teaspoon flaked coconut
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
  • 1 lime wedge to garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Place the smoothie ingredients into a blender
  2. Blend until smooth and frothy
  3. For best results, don’t add the ingredients all at once or you may have a hard time blending them properly
